During the pandemic, I created more than 400 digital collages. In each work, there is a portrait of a woman, painted sometime between the 15th and early 20th century, at the left of the composition. At the right of the composition, there is an altered version of the portrait, sometimes with an added text. In all cases, my work is intended to provoke thoughts about the lives of women, past and present.
