During the pandemic, I created more than 400 digital collages. In each work, the portrait of a woman, painted sometime between the Renaissance and the early 20th century, appears at the left of the composition. At the right of the composition, I have placed an altered version of this woman, sometimes with the addition of a text. In all cases, my work is intended to provoke thoughts about the lives of women, past and present.
