Traveling—the herald of adventure, the harbinger of enduring motion. The images feature an ethereal atmosphere, a pause for meditation, and perhaps even a sense of nostalgia sometimes through use hot wax painted over photographs, or simply blurred imagery, reminding us that life and the locations at which we experience it are beautiful, that time is expendable, and that we are only briefly visiting. The light of day and the atmosphere within a space can guide us into our own minds to a personal place. In addition, the photographs seem to also represent the beauty of decay and our existence within this world. This particular image is part of a series of pictures taken whilst driving on the Taconic Parkway.
