During the ongoing pandemic due to the lockdown and curtailed activities there was ample time to delve into our dreams either during sleep or in our waking lives. However, these dreams oftentimes were put on hold: that's why these hand constructed "pillows" representing deferred dreams are mounted on coatracks --they suggest both being stuck at home and the nostalgia for our previous spontaneity and sociability. The good part is that the dreams are moveable. When viewed in person, they can be rearranged into new combinations, so that the viewer can move these "dreams" too!
The "Dream Pillows" are made of my hand printed fabrics, suggesting organic imagery, and stitched on a sewing machine.
